Rihanna has been grabbing all the headlines recently with her first ever US number #1 album Unapologetic, however Adele has rained all over her parade by announcing that her sophomore album 21 has gone diamond (10 million sold) in the US.
She even tweeted in a cheeky fashion “shine bright like a diamond” which is a known Rihanna lyric. Sly jibe or not, both 24 year old’s have made their mark on music, but Adele is a part of an elite club which is almost impossible to gain membership for in today’s musical climate.
