Drake reveals the official artwork for his upcoming album ‘Nothing Was The Same’, which is designed by Kadir Nelson. The LP, which will feature guest appearances by Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Hudson Mohawke and more, has been pushed back to September 24th. Drake will also be performing this Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards, which will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Swizz Beatz’ art will soon be displayed on the walls of Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s house. The hip hop mogul has purchased a Mercedes-Benz hood that Swizz adorned with Jean-Michel Basquiat’s face. He titled the piece “Holy Grail” and dedicated it to Jigga. All the earnings of the sale will be donated to art schools.
“Look who purchased my Basquiat on Benz Hood 2day,” tweeted Swizz. “what a honor and Blessing I’m so grateful for the support! July 4 its Showtime ART LIFE!!! I will use proceeds to continue helping kids in need.”
The piece is 1/50 car hoods he plans to create for his art exhibit. The super-producer also designed a Porsche hood with Muhammad Ali’s face, which fetched $24,000 at auction.
Clee Clothing presents The Rebirth, a night of diverse entertainment celebrating the label’s new image and direction. Taking place at Rich Mix, Shoreditch, on 6th February 2012, the event comes replete with clothing printing, speed-dating, comedy, music and goody bags.
This will be a three-part event: the above activities will act as an introduction, followed by a fashion show for the new line and, to conclude, a variety of poetry, music and stand-up comedy performances.
