Mitch Meets Nas

Today was an epic moment for me. I met one of my long time idols Nas. I can’t reveal why I was actually in the same vicinity as the legendary rapper but all will become clear soon. Usually when people meet their heroes they become disappointed with them afterwards because they aren’t the person they expect them to be. I’ve met and worked with a lot of celebrities in my time and I can tell you, with Nas this was not the case. He looked like money, had a strong aura and spoke with such calm, confidence. It was like in the movies when a person meets their idol and they lose all control. I began telling him how I own all of his albums (legally) and how I’m a big fan.

He signed my Life Is Good album (above) with the words “To Mitch One Love Nas” and even told me how he wanted to buy my custom made Whitney Houston t-shirt. 20 years in the rap game and Nas has managed to not only stay relevant but put out some of his best material to date and for that reason he has earned his very first UK arena tour which kicks off before the end of the year.
